Witness Video Captured Deadly D.C. Guard Attack
Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, 20, had volunteered for D.C. Guard duty to allow others to spend Thanksgiving with family, and then less than 24 hours after being sworn in, she was shot dead by an alleged terrorist gunman allowed into the U.S. under former President Joe Biden's resettlement program for Afghans that had assisted the U.S. war on terror before the Biden's unconditional withdrawal. Witness video obtained by The Wall Street Journal provides the clearest account so far of the moments a gunman opened fire on National Guard in a deadly attack that is being investigated as an act of terrorism. Video and images show troops scrambling as the first shots ring out. A second image shows the suspect gripping a revolver in his right hand while a Guardsman sprints away. Roughly five seconds, a Guardsman can be heard returning fire. [Full Story]
