The conservative movement has long been a home for those who cherish faith, family, national pride, and moral clarity.

The Republican party has stood for religious liberty, for the strength of the U.S.-Israel alliance, and for the safety and dignity of the Jewish people.

The Republican Party is led by President Donald J. Trump, the best friend the Jewish community in America and Israel has ever had.

Yet today, we find ourselves confronting something that many assumed could never happen: a troubling rise of antisemitic rhetoric and influence on the right.

This isn't coming from the Republican rank and file.

It's coming from a fringe gaining platforms, protection, and credibility from those who should know better.

The controversy surrounding the Heritage Foundation’s embrace of Tucker Carlson, even after Carlson hosted one of the most notorious Jew haters in America, is not simply a debate over personalities.

It's a moral test.

When the President of Heritage publicly praises Carlson as a friend, even as Carlson elevates voices who deny Israel’s right to exist and demonize American Jews, the message is unmistakable.

It tells antisemites that their place in the conservative movement is secure.

Because of this, they will get louder and they will continue pushing forward.

I refuse to accept that.

For decades, conservatives have criticized the Democratic Party for allowing antisemitism to grow inside its own coalition.

We warned what would happen when leaders stayed silent as Democrats elevated Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and others who traffic in slanders about Israel and Jews.

I watched college campuses become hostile to Jewish students.

We watched progressive institutions excuse anti-Jewish hate under the guise of "activism." And we were right to say that silence is complicity.

In recent weeks, we've seen prominent Jewish organizations and Jewish leaders take a stand. Zionist Organization of America, Coalition for Jewish Values, the Combat Antisemitism Movement, the National Jewish Advocacy Center, and others have severed ties with Heritage.

We've also seen many Christian leaders like Brandon Tatum, former Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, Dinesh D'Souza, Sebastian Gorka and many others take a stand against Carlson and the toxic views he holds.

Former elected officials, academics, donors, and everyday Jewish and Christian conservatives have spoken clearly.

They will not allow the conservative movement they love to be hijacked by those who excuse hatred and seek to divide Jews from Christians and Israel from America.

And we are not alone.

Leading Republican lawmakers are speaking up as well.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has warned about rising antisemitism on the right and left.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., has condemned the normalization of rhetoric demonizing Israel and its supporters. These voices matter. America needs more of them.

The conservative movement has always understood that the bond between Jews and Christians is not political convenience. It's cultural, historical, and biblical.

It's rooted in shared belief that every human being is created in the image of God.

Our partnership has strengthened America and strengthened Israel. Our alliance has been a force for peace, stability, and moral clarity in an increasingly unstable world.

Those who are now working to fracture that alliance claim they are "anti-war," "anti-globalist," or "just asking questions."

But listen closely and the message becomes unmistakable.

They insist that America should abandon Israel in its hour of greatest need.

Additionally, they claim that Jewish political participation is illegitimate.

They spread conspiracies that Jewish people control the government and media.

These are not new ideas. They are the oldest and deadliest lies in history.

I can't pretend this is merely a disagreement over foreign policy.

It's about whether the GOP will remain a movement grounded in moral conviction, or whether it will become yet another space where hatred thrives under the cover of populism.

To be clear, this isn't about cancel culture.

This is about accountability. Words and actions have consequences.

I'm not trying to silence Tucker Carlson, or anyone else.

We are speaking out as citizens who understand where antisemitism leads if ignored.

We are raising our voices because millions of Jews are again being forced to defend their right to exist. We are raising our voices because America needs responsible leadership now, not reckless agitation.

There's still time for the conservative movement to course correct.

Heritage can choose the path of moral leadership instead of appeasement.

Republican candidates and officeholders can choose to speak with clarity rather than triangulation. Grassroots activists can choose to support voices that unite rather than voices that tear down.

The future of the conservative movement will be shaped by the choices made right now.

The Republican Party will not become a home for antisemitism.

The conservative movement will not surrender its moral compass.

Not now. Not ever.
