McConnell “is a very bitter guy.”

There’s no question that Mitch McConnell’s era of representing Kentucky and Americans in the Senate is over; it was over long ago.

His announcement that he’s not running for reelection was something Captain Obvious would scoff at knowingly; it was so palpable.

But it’s clear he thinks he’s still clever. He’s trying to run out the next two years, sitting in his Senate seat, like Dianne Feinstein, voting against the good conscience of the only sane Americans currently, Judeo-Christian Conservatives who are enjoying life again because of one man … Trump.

McConnell cannot be allowed to simply take up space like an inanimate object.

We had McConnell’s sad, public brain-freezes that reminded our electorate of the Biden, Feinstein and Fetterman atrocities where our country was inflicted with mentally unstable “elected” officials who destructively refused to get out of office and worse, insisted on voting as if they were cogent and aware of the crucial issues they were voting on.

McConnell blamed President Trump and his MAGA supporters for the January 6 riot. He never appeared, to my knowledge at a Trump rally but if he did, the cacophonous booing would’ve been heard across America.

The only good thing McConnell has done over the last 10 years was keeping Obama’s ghastly nomination of Merrick Garland from being confirmed and seated on the highest court in our land. What has McConnell done for the American people since 2016? Nada.

I’ve never seen the man smile. Whatever sympathy McConnell could collect for being a grumpy old RINO was lost. The Sympathy Window is now closed. Forever.

In summation, after McConnell’s “no” votes on President Trump’s excellent nominations of Pete Hegseth to lead the Defense Department, Tulsi Gabbard as National Intelligence director and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as secretary of Health and Human Services, he must be removed and relegated to the ash heap of US Senate history.

“The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the President and powerful people.”
