Since former President Donald Trump announced Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate, a concerted agenda has sought to undermine this decision, circulating a false narrative that President Trump hates Vance and is considering removing Vance because he is a disaster.
These lies come not just from Democrats who fear Vance, but also from establishment Republicans fuming that Trump spurned their (unworthy) stalwarts for the position.
Their hapless attempt to incite discord and get a redo will fail. Vance was a wise choice to be Trump's next vice president, and he will pay dividends throughout the campaign season.
Had Trump picked a neoconservative or establishment favorite as his running mate, as had been heavily rumored in the lead-up to July's Republican National Convention, politicos would be gushing over the pick. With the backing of the media machine, a hypothetical establishment pick might have higher favorability ratings than Vance.
But it's quite possible Trump would have been saddled with another Mike Pence; that is, someone who seemingly says the right things (politically) at just the right time, but still lies in wait camouflaged, waiting for the perfect moment to betray his president.
With Vance, no such concern exists. He will never let Trump down, if anything, he'll be a steady, consistent voice for the America First agenda in the White House. With Vance, no such concern exists. He will stab Trump in the back; instead, he will be a consistent voice for the America First agenda in the White House. Vance will provide a counterbalance to the establishment advisers who might stand to gain from undermining Trump's electoral mandate.
Vance also bolsters Trump's political well-being because he is an unknown outsider, whom the establishment fears. And he most certainly would not be manipulated by anyone.
Vance is also a very effective media surrogate.
In a different life, Vance was a CNN commentator and is very sharp when dealing with hostile journalists. He willingly enters hostile territory to push back against the vile narratives promulgated by lying propagandists.
When Vance goes up against Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, he will be worth his weight in gold as Walz's folksy facade crumbles in real time; Walz will have no choice but to atone for his shameful stolen valor statements and his radical far-left record in Minnesota.
Vance's rise represents a shift from free-market dogmatism toward a more dynamic populist pragmatism. Vance is not shy about using the government to create more favorable economic conditions for the working class.
Vance does not hew to tired lines that proclaim the free market as an excuse to deny ordinary Americans assistance while silently endorsing huge socialist bailouts to massive corporations that just happen to be flushing billions into Republicans' coffers.
Indeed, Vance was far from the establishment choice for the U.S. Senate in Ohio. He lagged in the polls and was considered a long shot.
However, he outworked his opponents and climbed in the polls. As the two supposed front-runners fought each other and tried to out-neocon each other to impress the media and donor class, Vance spoke out against limitless support for the U.S. proxy war against the Russian Federation in the Ukraine.
He caught Trump's attention and converted his skeptics, emerging as a populist star within the new Republican Party.
Most of the attacks leveled against Vance stem from armchair commentators lacking his intellectual courage. Vance is attacked for talking about crucial issues important for his country's future.
America's lagging birth rates, combined with planned demographic replacement from the Third World, are an existential threat to America and, more broadly, Western civilization. Vance is painted by the left as "weird" for understanding these issues, misrepresented as obsessed with women's bodies when he is, in fact, concerned about national strength and stability, as a responsible and serious political figure should be.
Vance provides tangible solutions to the societal problems created by the left.
Unfettered welfarism is never targeted to improve society. Leftists just want to buy votes; they do not want to provide economic incentives for working families to have more children.
The left wants the Third World forcefully imported into communities to skew their demographics so Democrats can no longer lose elections. Vance's policies would terminate this agenda, offering a better deal to women than anything the left is willing to provide, similar to what Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has done with his pro-natalist policies.
Trump's selection of Vance shows that the realignment of the Republican Party is near completion.
Rather than pretenders like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis or former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Vance is the clear heir apparent to Trump. He will carry on Trumpism for generations to come.
Vance's vision for a government that helps the people when necessary while staying out of their finances and not caring about what they do in the bedroom is a winning message for most Americans. Trump's selection of Vance as his running mate will solidify a MAGA future and ensure President Trump's legacy as one of America's most consequential chief executives.
