In addition to the creation of a temporary new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) headed by entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to cut government waste and inflation, President-elect Trump is picking strong cabinet leaders who are committed to related goals of permanently dismantling the bloated federal government bureaucracy and slashing excess regulations.
The DOJ
America has witnessed wholesale politization of the Department of Justice beginning with President Obama’s self-proclaimed "wingman" Attorney General Eric Holder followed by President Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland which has similarly directed investigations and lawfare intimidations against political rivals centrally including former President Trump and his associates.
Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, President-elect Trump’s pick to head the agency is tasked to tamp down rising crimes trends that plague communities and end current weaponization of DOJ against organizations and individuals deemed hostile to partisan interests.
The FBI
Fully in concert with the Obama and Biden White House agendas and DOJ marching orders, FBI headquarters has conspired to spy on the Trump campaign and presidency, concealed evidence of Biden family corruption including foreign influence peddling and tax evasion on Hunter’s "laptop from hell" throughout the 2020 election period, and even conducted an armed raid on the former president’s personal residence for classified documents he was arguably authorized to keep while ignoring those found in Joe’s garage and other Biden properties.
Former White House National Security Council senior director for counterterrorism, chief of staff to the director of national intelligence, acting defense secretary, and staff member of the House Intelligence Committee Cash Patel who played a pivotal role in exposing the Hillary Clinton campaign’s political Trump Russia collusion hoax is the ideal person to head the agency.
The DOD
Disgraced by incompetence responsible for the Biden administration’s epic Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, the Defense Department under its current secretary, General Lloyd Austin III, no longer enjoys nor deserves public confidence to protect our nation from powerful foreign aggressors.
Trump’s pick to replace Austin, Princeton and Harvard graduate Pete Hegseth, would be welcomed by military rank-and-file as a competent replacement: a boots-on-the-ground Afghanistan and Iraq veteran with two bronze stars and a fierce critic of weak and woke Pentagon policies that destroy combat morale and recruitment.
DHS
Rather than secure sovereign U.S. borders from unvetted illegal migrants including criminals, violent gang members and prospective terrorists, the Biden Department of Homeland Security headed by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has instead worked to block state and local policing efforts to protect communities and citizens from a cartel-enriching human and narcotics trafficking invasion.
Count on South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem who has been tagged to head DHS to end Biden-Harris administration open border insanity.
HHS
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) administered under the Department of Health and Human Services has not only lost substantial public trust regarding scientific objectivity and transparency regarding the true COVID-19 pandemic origin but is now under congressional investigation in a coverup as likely sponsor of taxpayer funding of China’s Wuhan laboratory that created the deadly coronavirus through the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NAID) formerly headed by Anthony Faici.
Trump HHS secretary nominee, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, a staunch critic of HHS/NIH failures to ensure adequate vaccine safety tests, address a national childhood obesity epidemic and eliminate toxic chemicals additives in food can help restore badly eroded vital public confidence in America’s top health agency.
EPA
The Environmental Protection Agency which once provided crucially important regulatory services necessary to ensure clean air, land and water and preserve natural living systems has become pirated by ideologues and green energy subsidy opportunists who brand carbon dioxide essential to all advanced life forms as a dangerous "climate pollutant" under its Clean Air Act to control the type of cars we drive and ways we heat our homes.
Whereas EPA is not officially a cabinet level organization, its top administrator is typically given cabinet rank.
Expect Trump pick for this position, pragmatic former New York Rep. Lee Zeldon, to reverse current EPA rulemaking attempts to put fossil fuel industries out of business, drive up energy costs and inflation, and push American consumers into electric vehicles that depend upon China for rare earth minerals used in their batteries.
DOE
Captive to powerfully influential teachers’ unions that destructively shut down schools during COVID-19 for low-risk children, oppose charter school options for failing public schools in low- income neighborhoods, incorporate age-inappropriate sexual materials along with divisive Critical Race Theory (CRT) and unpatriotic 1619 Project propaganda into K-12 curricula, the federal Department of Education is a strong candidate for abolishment altogether.
Linda McMahon, Trump’s nomination to head the department may also be the one to end it and transfer its roles and responsibilities to states and municipalities where they properly belonged before the agency was created by Congress in 1979.
Formerly serving as a member of the Connecticut Board of Education and later appointed as Small Business Administrator during Trump’s first term, McMahon is leaving her position as CEO of the multi-billion-dollar World Wrestling Entertainment organization (WWE) to pursue policies she has previously championed including expanding school voucher programs and restoring powers to parents in schools.
Recognizing that cabinet-level nominees require Senate confirmation, a GOP majority supported by a major electoral and popular election mandate augers for optimism that all will be successfully approved.
The country deserves no less.
