The response of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the unprovoked attack by Hamas barbarians upon innocent Israeli men, women, children and even infants and Holocaust survivors is very telling as to the true nature of the Kingdom and its leaders.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has said that Israel helped cause the explosive situation with Hamas; using that logic also caused the raping and murdering of women and children.
Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's famous Prince known as MbS, and a friend of several prominent, politically based, American evangelical leaders, also said that the Kingdom continues to "stand by the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights" and urged the Kingdom's support for the demands of the Hamas regarding establishment of a Palestinian state.
This is beyond tone deaf but rather shows that the Saudi Kingdom, in its inner soul, is complicit in this modern-day Holocaust attempt.
The Saudis, largely led by Crown Prince MbS, did not even condemn, in the strongest possible fashion, the kidnapping and raping of innocent female Israeli and other civilians and their continued killings. The initial Saudi reaction was to make this tragedy political by supporting Palestinians; it's a response that is very telling as to their soul.
The Saudis can hide behind their cash but their true nature is consistently revealed, as it was shortly after Sept. 11, 2001. As the fires were still burning at Ground Zero, the Saudis visited the Pile at the World Trade Center and, offering a $10 million relief check, said that the attacks were caused by U.S. policy in the Middle East regarding Israel and the Palestinians. Mayor Rudy Giuliani told the Saudis to shove it and gave back the check.
This episode 22 years ago is indicative of the Saudi game; throw money at the West to mollify its influential leaders but spark the fuels of hatred by their true nature.
To this day, the Saudis continue to deny to the 9/11 families and the world an admission of Saudi financing and logistical assistance to the mostly unskilled and unemployed Sept. 11 hijackers who were in the United States for a prolonged period, with 15 out of 19 hijackers being Saudi.
In fact, Saudi money prompted prominent American veterans to register as foreign agents, with one receiving $100,000 in an unsuccessful 2016-2017 fight against the 9/11 families in their quest for Saudi transparency.
Even the possible upcoming deal with Saudi Arabia and Israel was motivated by the Kingdom's economic desires as opposed to genuine freedom of religion and personhood.
Sadly, many American evangelical Christians have fallen for this Saudi ruse and often publicly praised the Kingdom and its leadership. Too many Christian leaders offered their public support of shady Saudi figures, claiming they were people of hope.
Jesus said "blessed be the peacemakers" but there cannot be peace without truth and true fellowship cannot exist with those with whom one is unequally yoked. These supposedly civilized Saudis still treat their own women like dirt and it is telling that these American evangelical leaders have been noticeably silent to the demands of the 9/11 families regarding Saudi Arabia.
If there is no financial incentive involved then American evangelical leaders have simply been deceived by the Saudis. If these leaders have a financial, contractual relationship of any kind with Saudi Arabia, then American evangelical leaders may have fallen prey to the same scandals that have, in the Western world, sadly become too apparent in the Evangelical Industrial complex.
The dastardly attack by these cowardly Hamas barbarians was not just an attack on Israel. This was an attack upon the citizens of many nations but, like the Holocaust, this tragedy first and foremost is an attack against the Jewish people, perpetuating one of the oldest sins in history: antisemitism.
Instead of standing with Saudi Arabia and a false peace, American Christians should stand with the 9/11 families and condemn the Saudi response to terrorist acts from Sept.11, 2001 to 2023. Further, American evangelical leaders should, no matter the cost, stand with Israel and the American victims while never again coddling Saudi sin.
