The red Diet Coke button is set to make its return to the resolute desk in the Oval Office, waiting for President-elect Donald Trump when he's sworn in on Jan. 20, DailyMail.com reported Thursday.

The button is part of the preparations being made to return the White House to the way it looked four years ago when Trump and first lady Melania Trump left in 2021, according to the report.

During his first term in office, Trump could press the button whenever he wanted a Diet Coke, and it would be delivered by his then-valet Walt Nauta on a silver tray. President Joe Biden had the button removed when he took office.

The button's return is one small part of the well-coordinated process that will happen in an approximate 5-hour period on Inauguration Day; 100 employees will quickly move out the Bidens and move in the Trumps.

When the Trumps move in, they'll find their clothes in closets, family photos on the walls, furniture arranged to their liking and favorite foods in the kitchen, according to the report.

"It's easier because they've lived there before," Kate Andersen Brower, author of "The Residence," told DailyMail.com. "There aren't any mysteries about what [the Trumps] would like to have for breakfast, how they operate, what kind of shampoo they use. I mean, they know everything already."

The staff, which is a-political and remains working at the White House regardless of who's elected president, may be looking forward to the return of Donald Trump.

"He would, like, tip them cash. I was told he would hand out $50 bills" to the butlers, maids, housekeepers, and chefs et al. who comprise the staff, Brower told DailyMail.com.
