President-elect Donald Trump indicated on social media Thursday that he's counting down the days until he returns to the White House.
Trump posted a photo on Truth Social of Thursday of himself standing beside a desk, where longtime aide Dan Scavino is shown sitting. The words "Back in 18 days…to be continued" are superimposed on the picture.
Scavino posted a photograph on Instagram on Wednesday, proclaiming "19 Days!" He also counted down the days on X, where he posted "19 Days" while sharing a Trump post from April 2013, years before Trump became president, in which he declared that there was "NO MERCY TO TERRORISTS you dumb bastards!"
Trump's inauguration is on Jan. 20. He is also planning to hold a "Make America Great Again" rally at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C., on Jan. 19, a day before he's sworn into office.
