Fifty-one percent of likely Republican Primary voters in Georgia say they support former President Donald Trump, while 30% support Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, according to a new poll by the University of Georgia's School of Public & International Affairs.
Highlights from the poll released Thursday:
- 4% support Nikki Haley, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations
- 2% support former Vice President Mike Pence
- 2% support former Rep. Liz Cheney
- 1% support Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.
- 7% are undecided.
The poll, conducted April 2-7, surveyed 983 likely Republican primary voters in Georgia. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
