Faced with the loss of their homes, Hollywood celebrities began to turn on Los Angeles' Democrat officials, blasting them on social media for the city's response to the massive wildfires ravaging the Pacific Palisades and neighboring areas.

Actor Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Instagram on Wednesday to criticize Democrat leadership for failing to keep traffic moving for the tens of thousands of residents desperately trying to escape.

"City of LA you want everyone to evacuate yet you have complete gridlock and not one traffic cop on the roads helping," Gellar wrote, tagging Mayor Karen Bass and the city of Los Angeles in the post.

The Palisades fire, burning since Tuesday, has ripped through 17,234 acres, reducing homes in the star-studded neighborhood to rubble and ash.

Actor James Woods, whose home was destroyed by the Palisades fire, on Wednesday railed against "liberal idiots" who "elect liberal idiots like [Gov.] Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass."

"One doesn't understand the first thing about fire management and the other can't fill the water reservoirs," Woods wrote in a post on X.

In a separate post, Woods shared a photo of the view from his home, writing: "I took this last night from our beautiful little home in the Palisades. Now all the fire alarms are going off at once remotely. It tests your soul, losing everything at once, I must say."

Actor Sara Foster, the daughter of music mogul David Foster, also skewered Los Angeles leadership in a post on X, slamming the policies and priorities of the Democrats in charge.

"We pay the highest taxes in California," Foster wrote. "Our fire hydrants were empty. Our vegetation was overgrown, brush not cleared. Our reservoirs were emptied by our governor because tribal leaders wanted to save fish. Our fire department budget was cut by our mayor. But thank god drug addicts are getting their drug kits. @MayorOfLA @GavinNewsom RESIGN. Your far left policies have ruined our state. And also our party."

Valentin Chmerkovskiy, a former "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer, also slammed California's lack of preparedness for the fires, especially given the size of the state's economy and the tax burden levied on residents.

"5th largest economy on the planet. Firefighters didn't have enough water pressure to do their jobs?!" he said. "Are you joking me?! The taxes we pay for 3rd world infrastructure is unbelievable?! Come on."

As of Thursday morning, nearly 30,000 acres, or 47 square miles, were burning in Los Angeles County. At least five people have died, according to officials.
