Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed "the path forward in Gaza" in a call with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, the State Department said Friday.
They also discussed ways to advance shared interests in Syria, Lebanon, and across the Middle East, including Red Sea security and freedom of navigation, the State Department said in a news release.
Rubio thanked the Saudi foreign minister for the partnership in helping to chart a new course for Lebanon and humanitarian assistance to Syria and Sudan. Rubio said he looked forward to strengthening the U.S.-Saudi partnership.
