WASHINGTON — Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg considered spinning off the popular social media app Instagram in 2018 in anticipation of a potential antitrust lawsuit, documents unveiled at trial on Tuesday in Washington showed.

This occurred during Zuckerberg's second day of testifying at the trial in Washington, in which the Federal Trade Commission is seeking to unwind Meta's acquisitions of prized assets Instagram and WhatsApp.
