Attorney General Pam Bondi personally removed framed portraits of former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, and former Attorney General Merrick Garland from the Justice Department, sources confirmed, just weeks into President Donald Trump's return to the White House, Breitbart reported.

According to sources who spoke with Breitbart News, Bondi removed the photos herself, stacking them in a corner. The portraits were reportedly installed by holdover employees from Biden's administration three weeks into Trump's presidency.

The move comes as Trump, following what supporters call the greatest political comeback in American history, continues to assert control over government agencies after his landslide 2024 victory.

His political opponents had attempted to derail his return to office through legal battles, ballot challenges, and congressional investigations, but Trump ultimately prevailed and secured the presidency.

Miranda Devine of the New York Post detailed the moment on X, formerly Twitter:

"Attorney General @PamBondi went into the DOJ in DC today and noticed that on the walls in one wing, they still have big framed photos of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Merrick Garland," Devine wrote. "This is 'ridiculous' three weeks into Donald Trump's presidency."

"So she took down the photos off the wall, there and then, on her own, and stacked them in a corner where we hope they will never be seen again. Bravo!" she added.

Bondi, a longtime Trump ally and former Florida attorney general, was confirmed as the nation's top law enforcement officer earlier this year.

Her removal of the photos reflects the Trump administration's broader efforts to overhaul the Justice Department following years of partisan politics and political tension.
