Voters say former President Donald Trump is more likely to win Thursday's debate with President Joe Biden, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey.

Asked which candidate would win the debate, 47% of likely voters say Trump and 37% say Biden, Rasmussen Reports results showed Monday. Another 16% of voters are not sure.

Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, and Biden will meet at 9 p.m. ET in CNN's Atlanta studios for the first presidential debate during the 2024 race for the White House.

Among Republicans, 81% say Trump will win the debate and 9% say Biden will prevail. Among Democrats, 69% say Biden will be the winner and 17% say Trump, and among unaffiliated voters 45% say Trump and 31% say Biden.

A total of 52% of whites, 24% of Blacks, 50% of Hispanics and 38% of other minorities say Trump is more likely to win the first debate. Those saying Biden is more likely to win include 35% of whites, 58% of Blacks, 30% of Hispanics and 32% of other minorities.

Rasmussen Reports also asked voters whether the debate is "Biden's 'last chance,' and if he loses the debate, Democrats will replace Biden with another candidate?"

A total of 47% — including 24% who strongly agree — say yes, the debate is the president's "last chance." Another 39% disagree, including 23% who strongly disagree, and another 14% are not sure.

In a party breakdown of voters, 62% of Republicans, 34% of Democrats and 45% of unaffiliated voters at least somewhat agree that the debate is Biden's "last chance."

Considering Biden is 81 and Trump 77, voters were asked, "Which candidate is more likely to have problems in the debate because of his age?"

Voters say Biden, by a whopping 25-point margin (57% to 32%), is more likely than Trump to have problems in the debate because of his age. Another 11% are not sure.

A total of 72% of Republicans, 43% of Democrats and 57% of unaffiliated voters say Biden is more likely to have problems, while 43% of Democrats, 24% of Republicans and 28% of unaffiliated voters say Trump is more likely to have age-related problems in the debate.

The Rasmussen Reports survey was conducted June 18-20 among 1,080 likely voters. It has a margin of sampling error of plus/minus 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
