Former President Donald Trump ripped the FBI's raid on his South Florida estate and called the U.S. a "lawless country."

His comments came as a redacted version of the affidavit in support of the FBI's search of his Mar-a-Lago home was scheduled to be released to the public by Friday at noon.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: "The political Hacks and Thugs had no right under the Presidential Records Act to storm Mar-a-Lago and steal everything in sight, including Passports and privileged documents. They even broke into my safe with a safecracker - Can you believe? This Act was created for a very good reason, and it works. We are right now living in a Lawless Country, that just so happens to be, also, a Failing Nation!"

In another post, Trump added: "Keep loving our Country - It will come back into your hearts stronger than ever before!!!"

A federal judge on Thursday ordered the Justice Department to release a redacted affidavit. Reuters reported Judge Bruce Reinhart agreed to redact "identities of witnesses, law enforcement agents, and uncharged parties, the investigation's strategy, direction, scope, sources, and methods and grand jury information."
