A member of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang sought in a Colorado break-in over the summer was arrested Tuesday during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in New York City, CBS News reported.

Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, 26, was wanted for burglary, felony menacing, and extortion in connection with a break-in that went viral, with security footage showing six heavily armed men breaking into residences at the Edge at Lowry Apartments in Aurora.

Zambrano-Pacheco was arrested in the Bronx by Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations officers. The building he was in is across the street from an elementary school.

"DEA/local LEO partners continue hitting streets day/night pursuing drug criminals," the DEA said in a statement. "A suspected member of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) was taken into custody in the Denver area overnight. Due to the ongoing investigation, more info may be released later today."

More than 2,000 people have been arrested in two days in President Donald Trump’s immigration raids, CNN reported.

The raids are being carried out with ICE; U.S. Marshals; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Drug Enforcement Administration; FBI and other federal agencies.
