Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., on Newsmax Monday rejected criticism of former President Donald Trump’s controversial comments on immigrants, saying Democrats would “quit talking about the language” he used if they went to the border.

In an interview on “Newsline,” Biggs was asked about Trump’s recent comment that immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” which the Biden campaign has compared to language used by Adolf Hitler.

Biggs said, “If you are angry about the rhetoric right now, when we have an existential threat to the United States of America because of the open border policies of this administration, then I think you're straining at a net because what we have here is just phenomenally dangerous to the very fabric of the United States.”

He added, “So they can talk about rhetoric all they want, they should get their butts on down to the border and start looking at what's really happening.”

The congressman continued, “They should go on up … to New York” or “any other small city in America, practically but along the border for sure, and then you quit talking about the language and they start talking about a problem that has to be solved if we're going to continue on as the United States of America.”
