Retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt told Newsmax on Tuesday that Israel has the technology it needs to go after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps after Iran launched missiles into Israel.

Holt said on "Newsline" he that he believes Israel foresaw the attack and already war-gamed out its next move.

"Look for them to use deception," Holt said. "Look for them to use what we call fifth generational warfare. You could see the Israelis doing things like cyber events, deep fakes, misdirection, more major attacks."

Israel will do more than just launch missiles in the air to retaliate against Iran.

"It'll be a suite of options. And they've well thought those out," Holt said.

Israel was able to use high-end technology to track and eventually kill Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Hezbollah, Holt said.

An operative put a gel on his hand when he shook the hand of Nasrallah, creating trackable material on him, allowing Israel to know which bunker he was in, Holt said. Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli air strike.

"That's why I'm so surprised that Iran is actually striking out the way they are today," Holt said. "It tells me that they're very nervous about the pressure points they see with their population, with China, perhaps Russia, as well."
