Lunden Roberts, mother to one of Hunter Biden's children, told Newsmax on Tuesday that she understood the full pardon offered to Biden and that the president's son "knows where he's gone wrong and the things he's done."
Navy Joan is Roberts' now 5-year-old daughter and has yet to meet her grandfather, President Joe Biden. Last week, the elder Biden extended a full pardon to his son which not only covered his multiple convictions related to weapons charges and tax evasion, but to any federal crime that may have been committed since 2014.
Roberts said that she understood a parent would do anything to aid their child if they could.
"I understand it's such a controversial topic, and I've never really been into politics and the political world, so I can't speak on what I would do if I was a sitting president or anything like that. But I know what I would do if I was a mother, and I am a mother. And there's no barrier I wouldn't break for my daughter to get her out of any situation," Roberts said during an appearance on "Wake Up America."
The author of "Out of the Shadows: My Life Inside the Wild World of Hunter Biden" added that despite her support of Hunter Biden, he's been "a pretty absent" father to their child.
"I think that Hunter knows where he's gone wrong and the things that he's done, and he deals with that on his own. And I think if any parent had the authority to help their child, they would."
