Texas Republican Rep. Pat Fallon called Hunter Biden's contempt hearing a "narcissistic circus" with the president's son operating as the apparent ring leader.
The Texas congressman's comment to "The Record with Greta Van Susteren" on Newsmax, followed Hunter's surprise visit to his contempt hearing where Congress members were deliberating on charging the president's son.
"It's a narcissistic circus," Fallon said. "I mean, all this guy cares about is making money. Apparently, he's filming a documentary, so he's probably looking [to] cash in one last time on the Biden name.
"He's a criminal. He has been selling influence and access for years, and he's a life loser. He's somebody that was a failure at life until his dad became vice president. And then he became an international multimillionaire."
In the backdrop to the hearing on Wednesday, as chair of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., has repeatedly said that the investigation is not about Hunter per se; it is about his father, President Joe Biden's role in alleged pay for play schemes.
