Rep. Fallon to Newsmax: Biden Bribery Scheme Makes Watergate 'Look Like a Parking Ticket'

Texas GOP Congressman Pat Fallon informed Newsmax on Tuesday that based on what he’s read from the unclassified FD-1023 document, the allegations that President Joe Biden accepted a $5 million bribe from a foreign national make Watergate “look like a parking ticket.”

While appearing on “The Chris Salcedo Show,” Fallon said that after poring over the FD-1023’s three and a half pages, he was confident that “we don’t quite yet have a smoking gun, but I’m smelling the gunpowder.”

The congressman is also “thoroughly convinced” by the findings of the document — which also claims that there are 17 audio recordings featuring Biden, his son, Hunter Biden, and the oligarch who recorded them as an “insurance policy” — that the president “is corrupt and compromised, and that we’re on the precipice of an impeachment, and possibly, a conviction.”

“All the pieces of the puzzle are fitting together, unfortunately and sadly perfectly,” Fallon said. “And this FD-1023 was generated by the FBI's own description of this fella … a highly credible source who’s been very reliable over more than a decade, who they paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to. … it all makes sense now.

Host Chris Salcedo asked the Texas representative if the FBI had tried to suppress the existence of the oligarch’s audio recordings, which Fallon had explained is “pretty par for the course” in Russia and Ukraine “because there’s so much corruption there.”

He also emphasized that he does not know the identity of the oligarch, but that “we need to ensure the security and safety of this person, because if anybody in the world right now is going to get disappeared, it's this fella.”

Although Fallon couldn’t definitively state whether or not the FBI tried to keep the recordings a secret, he revealed that an FBI supervisory analyst had thought the FD-1023 “was ‘disinformation’ and put it in a sub file, which was restricted to when Bill Barr referred this to a U.S. attorney, and the U.S. attorney then assigned FBI agents to look at this. They couldn't find it because they didn't have access. Now why did they do that? I want to know why they did that.”

Asked whether he believes his fellow Republicans will move Heaven and Earth to determine if these tapes exist and if they will obtain copies so that the American public can hear them, Fallon said, “If we don't, we're not doing our jobs. This is what we came here to do … to administer justice. And this could be the worst scandal in American history. I mean, this could make Watergate look like a parking ticket. This is how bad this is.

“We're talking about definitive proof that the president of the United States, [while he was] vice president, took a $5 million bribe from a foreign national for sheerly his own benefit and greed. Him and his son and his family,” he added. “If this is true, he's unfit for office, he needs to be removed forthwith. So we need to do every damn thing we can to ensure that we get to the truth of this matter.”
