Rep. Rich McCormick, R-Ga., told Newsmax on Thursday that former President Donald Trump "has made a huge evolution in his political career, way before the assassination attempt, to be fair."
"When he was up in [Washington,] D.C., a couple of months ago, talking to the entire Congress and talking to people that he normally doesn't reach out to, people who disagree with him and trying to make peace, trying to get [Rep.] Marjorie Taylor Greene [R-Ga.] to get along with Speaker [Mike] Johnson [R-La.], that has been his new M.O. for a couple of months, at least," McCormick said during an appearance on "American Agenda."
"That's showing after 10 years, after being president of the United States, he can still evolve and become even better," he added.
