SEC Athletics Diversity Objectives Examined as DEI Offices Are Closed

While last weekend's SEC championship is now a sports memory, the level to which the division's athletic departments are following diversity obligations is still up for debate.

While many of their DEI offices have been eliminated, there still are apparent questions as to what extent institutions are either relabeling or finding different means of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives on campuses and in sports.
