Trump: 'Too Late' to Debate Now, 'Voting Has Already Started'

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump trolled Vice President Kamala Harris' most recent call for another debate, saying, ostensibly, you snooze, you lose.

"The problem with another debate is that it's just too late: Voting has already started," Trump told supporters at his Wilmington, N.C., campaign rally, which aired live and in its entirety on Newsmax and the free Newsmax2 streaming platform.

"She's had her chance to do it with Fox. You know, Fox invited us on, and I waited and waited, and they turned it down.

"They turned it down, but now she wants to do a debate right before the election with CNN because she's losing badly.

"You know, it's like a fighter. She sees the polls. She sees what's happening. She's losing badly. But it's like a fighter who goes into the ring and gets knocked out: The first thing he says is, I want a rematch."

Harris' campaign agreed to a CNN debate Saturday just before Trump's rally, but Trump noted he was pressing for more than one debate before voting started, a suggestion Harris rejected.

"She's done one debate; I've done two; it's too late to do another," Trump told his outdoor rally held on the airport tarmac and behind bulletproof glass after a pair of failed assassination attempts.

"I'd love to in many ways, but it's too late. The voting is cast. The voters are out there. Immediately, is everybody voting? Please get out and vote."

Harris only wants to debate on her terms, on a favorable liberal network, so she can try to stem the Make America Great Again enthusiasm and momentum, Trump warned.

"It was just announced a little while ago as I was coming off the plane, they would like to do another debate," Trump said. "Although good entertainment value, a lot of people say, Oh, do it! It's great entertainment.

"I've already done two, one with crooked Joe Biden at CNN and the other one with Kamala on ABC. CNN was very fair. I thought Joe was driven out of the race. He was: It was a coup, by the way, but he was driven out of the race."

CNN is under too much pressure to turn the tables on Trump, forcing him to debate the liberal moderators to protect Harris, because it was "too fair" in the one debate against Biden that led to him getting overthrown as the duly elected Democrat nominee, according to Trump.

"They've been widely criticized by the radical left lunatics for all of the fairness," Trump said. "They were very fair. In other words, they won't be fair again because they took a lot of abuse from the radical left.

"ABC was 3 on 1, but I was given credit for having done a very, very good job. I appreciate that we did a great job. It was 3 on 1."

Trump trolled Harris for reputedly skirting democracy, by accepting the Democrat nomination after the "coup" of Biden.

"I won all of the primaries," Trump said, noting Harris is an unelected candidate. "Remember, she won no primaries. Remember, she won none. She went into no primaries. She got no votes.

"Biden in all fairness — I'm no fan — but in all fairness to him, he got 14 million votes. She got none."
