Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, an ally of President Donald Trump who has been speaking out against America becoming involved in the Israel-Iran conflict, called on her fellow citizens to pray that the U.S. doesn't fall victim to homeland attacks after the bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites.

"Let us join together and pray for the safety of our U.S. troops and Americans in the Middle East," the Georgia Republican posted on X soon after Trump announced the airstrikes Saturday evening. "Let us pray that we are not attacked by terrorists on our homeland after our border was open for the past 4 years and over 2 Million gotaways came in. Let us pray for peace."

Just a half hour before Trump announced the military strikes, Greene also posted on X her opposition to becoming involved in yet another foreign war.

"Every time America is on the verge of greatness, we get involved in another foreign war," she wrote. "There would not be bombs falling on the people of Israel if [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu had not dropped bombs on the people of Iran first. Israel is a nuclear-armed nation. This is not our fight. Peace is the answer."

The congresswoman and fellow GOP Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky have been speaking out against America joining the war, reports Mediaite.

She has also voted against pro-Israeli legislation, including all three of the aid bills for the country following the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack.

Greene also opposed a bill, introduced during former President Joe Biden's term, forcing arms sales to Israel to go forward.

And last month, the congresswoman criticized more hawkish members of her party, stating that she represents the GOP base.

"I campaigned for no more foreign wars, and now we are supposedly on the verge of going to war with Iran," she posted on social media. "I don't think we should be bombing foreign countries on behalf of other foreign countries especially when they have their own nuclear weapons and massive military strength."
