Emerson Poll: Trump Leads Biden by 4 Points in Georgia

Forty-six percent of registered voters in Georgia say they support former President Donald Trump, compared to 42% who say they favor President Joe Biden, according to a new survey by Emerson College Polling/The Hill.

Trump's lead in Georgia dropped slightly – from 6% in a February Emerson College poll to the current 4 point lead.

Here are how the results break down:

  • 52% say they support Trump over Biden's 48% when the undecided respondents were required to select a candidate.
  • 44% say they favor Trump when third-party candidates were included, while 37% say they support Biden. Five percent say they back Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while 2% say they support Cornel West, and 1% say they favor Jill Stein.
  • 32% say the economy is the top issue, putting it in the number one spot, while 14% say immigration is the most important issue.

The poll, conducted March 5-7, surveyed 1,000 registered voters in Georgia The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
