A super PAC aligned with Donald Trump has started airing attack ads aimed at Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., over the lawmakers' opposition to the president's landmark policy bill and strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

"What happened to Thomas Massie," starts the ad, paid for by MAGA Kentucky.

It also shows Massie alongside Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

"Let's fire Thomas Massie," the ad says.

MAGA Kentucky, according to Axios, is led by senior Trump advisers Chris LaCivita and Tony Fabrizio.

The ad is set to begin airing Friday on Fox News and broadcast TV stations in the Cincinnati and Louisville markets and is part of an overall $1 million ad buy.

"The good news is that we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him in the Republican Primary, and I'll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard," Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday.
