Actor Jason Momoa said he is living on the road and has no idea when he will settle down.
"I don't even have a home right now," the "Aquaman" star told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday. "I live on the road."
Momoa, whose divorce from Lisa Bonet was finalized earlier this week, said he is traveling across the U.S. and engaging with people from all walks of life, from artisans to musicians and athletes, for his new docuseries "On the Roam," which premieres Jan. 18 on Max.
"I'm always in these weird places," he said.
Some people are a bit star-struck.
"It happens all the time. They're like, 'What the hell are you doing in our hometown?'" Momoa said, adding that the appeal was interacting with different people.
"I love the idea of just being with everyday people and doing my craft, which is filming, and then showing them," he said. "And so, I think through doing that for so long, I got to be curious about it."
Momoa said his nomad lifestyle will continue as he heads to New Zealand next to film "Minecraft."
On Monday, Momoa, 44, and Bonet, 56, settled their divorce shortly after she filed the legal papers.
They were married on Oct. 7, 2017, and separated on Oct. 7, 2020. Bonet cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce in her filing, which was obtained by People.
She requested joint custody of their two children — Lola, 16, and Nakoa-Wolf, 15 — in the filing and did not seek spousal support for either party.
In announcing their split in 2022, Bonet and Momoa released a joint statement saying: "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.
"And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage."
