Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., on Monday said Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is "absolutely going to be a game changer" as the nation's top health official.
"I don't agree with RFK on everything, but I fully support him. I think he's absolutely going to be a game changer," Marshall told Newsmax's "National Report."
Kennedy, President Donald Trump's choice to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, faces Senate confirmation hearings Wednesday and Thursday.
His confirmation is far from certain, and he's expected to face pointed questioning from Republicans and Democrats on the chamber's health and finance committees.
Marshall told Newsmax that RFK Jr. "is going to execute the president's agenda" and "focus on making America healthy again. And that's what President Trump's goal is here.
"Sixty percent of Americans have some type of a chronic disease, and mostly that's determined by what they eat and the toxins they're exposed to. So, I'm just looking forward to working with RFK Jr."
