Ukraine repeatedly hits civilian targets in Russia with Western missiles and drones and Moscow will respond, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday.

Russia targets only military facilities and infrastructure and "it's not in our rules to strike civilian targets," he added.

Four people were killed and five people were injured in the town of Lgov in Russia's Kursk region after Ukrainian shelling, the region's acting governor said on Wednesday.
