In an era where news cycles often emphasize chaos and suffering, it is essential to pause and acknowledge moments that speak to a counter-narrative: the presence of grace and divine intervention in our world.

One such moment unfolded last Thursday night in the Greater Tel Aviv area. It was an event that reminded many of us that miracles are not just tales of the past but can happen in the present day.

Thursday evening could have ended in tragedy when terrorists targeted the city with a coordinated plan to plant explosive devices on buses. Their intentions were clear: to cause mass casualties during the busy morning rush hour.

The devices were set to detonate at a time when people crammed onto buses, filled with the bustle of daily life, would have been least able to protect themselves. The potential for devastation was enormous.

Yet, by what many in the community are calling an act of divine mercy, the devices detonated prematurely. A scheduling error made by the terrorists themselves — a mistake so inexplicable in its detail — caused the explosives to go off at 9 p.m. instead of the planned 9 a.m.

As a result, the buses were parked, empty in their station lots, awaiting the next day’s passengers but engaged by none at that critical moment.

This miscalculation on part of those who intended harm, although attributed to human error came from a higher power, prevented an unimaginable catastrophe. The very same explosives that were intended to be instruments of sorrow and loss transformed into testaments of survival and resilience because there was no one there to be harmed.

To Believers, this incident serves as an undeniable illustration of G-D's active presence in our lives. It reminds us of the profound power of faith and the necessity to open our eyes to signs of divine protection that can often go unnoticed amidst the clamor of daily life.

The narrow escape from what could have been a day of mourning highlights the importance of gratitude for each day we are granted and the unseen hands that guide and protect us.

In light of the near calamity recently averted in Tel Aviv, we the American people find ourselves reflecting on a most recent miracle that occurred here in the USA: the attempt on the life of President Donald Trump. This incident as well serves as a stark awakening for all Americans amidst a backdrop of political and social unrest.

At a recent rally, a bullet intended for President Trump came alarmingly close to hitting its mark, only missing by the slimmest of margins as he turned his head in the nick of time.

This near miss open miracle echos the words from sacred Scriptures, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse." These words resonate profoundly, particularly when considering President Trump's unwavering support for Israel and the Jewish nation.

There is no doubt that President Trump has been a steadfast ally to Israel, more so than any American leader before him. His presidency has underscored a resolute commitment to protecting the Jewish nation, combating anti-Semitism, and ensuring that those who attack Israel face consequences.

As a Jewish leader, I am proud to call Donald Trump my president. I deeply appreciate how, under his leadership, it seems as though a divine protection surrounds both him and the Jewish nation. Open miracles appear to guard them, reinforcing the belief that a higher power watches over us in tandem with the tangible actions of steadfast allies.

These events, each imbued with their own sense of divine timing and intervention, invite contemplation about the subtle forces at play within the fabric of our reality. While sadly not everyone may interpret these happenings through a spiritual lens, for believers, they serve as reminders of a higher power's presence, a comforting notion in a world rife with uncertainty.

As the day turned into night on February 21st, what could have been an enduring tale of trauma became a narrative of miracles and providence.

Amidst the chaos and confusion, a powerful message emerged: Even in our darkest moments, there is room for unexpected light and hope, revealing that sometimes the greatest battles are won not through human effort, but through the unseen hands of fate and faith.
