Radical Islam has been a global cancer since 1972. The 2001 September 11th attacks brought it to society’s forefront.

In his 2009 outgoing presidential address to the nation, George W. Bush noted that many Americans returned to normal. He solemnly intoned “I never did.”

Sadly, Western complacency set in over time. The October 7th attacks in Israel murdered over 1,200 Jews, but empathy for Israel and Western civilization quickly faded.

A combination of Islamists and leftists has successfully marketed America and Israel as villains and Islamists as victims.

This upside-down world recently saw a radicalized Chicago Marxist murder two innocent Jews as they exited the Washington, D.C. Jewish Museum. The murderer yelled “Free Palestine” and opened fire.

On the eve of Shavuos, another Islamist set innocent Jews on fire at a pro-Israel gathering in Boulder, Colorado.

Elected officials in both cases offered typical flowery words, but poetry and prose long ago stopped being good enough. The American answer to this shooting must make the September 11th and October 7th responses seem tame.

It is long past time to unleash the gates of hell on every Islamist in America who harms Jews and Christians.

When a police officer killed a Black man named George Floyd, leftists burned down cities. Leftists made gay murder victim Matthew Shepard a fallen symbol of a new movement. Completely innocent Jewish murder victims deserve equal if not greater outrage.

Jewish lives must start mattering immediately. Words must give way to concrete substantive actions.

Jew-haters must face a cancel culture more furious than bile normally reserved for smokers, healthcare executives, and pronoun misgenderers. Those promoting antisemitism deserve severe consequences.

Revive the 2001 Bush Doctrine. Anyone who shelters, harbors, finances, or promotes terrorism in any way is just as culpable as the terrorists.

Rip out this poisonous antisemitic ideology’s roots and branches.

Start with college campuses. Firing antisemitic professors, canceling grants and taxing endowments is insufficient. True justice is shutting down universities and selling the buildings.

There is no freedom to promote violence while hiding under the false guise of speech.

The truth is that no legitimate “Palestinian” point of view exists. The Jewish people are backed by historical and archeological evidence. Displaced Islamist squatters are trying to exterminate Jews.

“Free Palestine,” “From the River to the Sea,” and “Intifada” are calls to anti-Jewish violence. Professors should not be paid to promote this violence.

The federal government seizes assets of corrupt corporations and hands down indictments. They certainly can do likewise with corrupt universities.

Additionally, declare the entire “Palestine” movement a violent terrorist movement. Treat its proponents equal to anyone joining ISIS or al Qaeda.

Warning labels were put on cigarettes and music albums with explicit lyrics. This stigma must be attached to Keffiyehs. As Dr. Sheila Nazarian brilliantly pointed out, “The Keffiyeh is the white hood of 2025.”

There are no goodIntifada” supporters. The very expression of Intifada makes its proponent bad.

Try explaining how white-hooded KKK members who only attend meetings are less culpable of racist violence than people burning crosses on innocent Black people’s lawns. Now try explaining why standards applied to Blacks and gays disappear for Jews.

Then use the legal system to sanction activist judges who confuse Mahmoud Khalil with Rosa Parks. Pass legislation holding judges civilly and criminally liable if Islamists or other released criminals become recidivists.

In a sane world, Mahmoud Khalil would be quickly deported and Khalid Sheik Mohammed would have been executed over 20 years ago. Instead, they get free meals and lodging courtesy of American taxpayers.

Jailed Islamists are free to radicalize other prisoners. Personal legal consequences for releasing Islamists on American society could make judges more inclined to err on the side of law and public safety.

Most importantly, crime and terrorism must be illegal again. There is no constitutional right to violent protest. Violence is neither speech nor protected.

Anyone preventing Jews from attending classes, synagogues, cultural museums or solidarity rallies needs to be sent to Guantanamo Bay or Alcatraz and placed with the most hardened terrorists. If this crackdown is good enough for abortion clinic bombers and January 6th rioters, surely civil libertarians can support justice against Islamists.

This is a war. Terrorists deserve military tribunals, not civil liberties. This is true whether the terrorists are utilizing guns and bombs or using classrooms to teach impressionable young minds how to do the dirtiest of dirty work.

From the River to the Sea, when Islamists are totally crushed, Jews and Christians will finally be free.
