If you have any doubt about what Joe Biden would consider a priority in the unlikely event that he wins a second term as president, his deputy campaign manager made it clear on an interview this week.

Will he focus on the Mideast teetering on the precipice of a larger war?

Concentrate on the nation’s anemic economy?

Tackle the significant challenges as artificial intelligence spreads?

No.

"First of all: Roe," deputy campaign manager Quentin Fulks said Sunday during an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Yes, abortion is the most important thing on the mind of our commander (make that extremist) in chief.

Now I have always said that abortion is the most fundamental moral and political issue we face. What is the purpose of law and government if not to protect innocent human life and the most basic human rights?

But the problem with Biden and the Democrats on this issue is that they only pretend to talk about it.

Start an honest debate on abortion, beginning by describing what you defend, and then we can make some progress.

Hundreds of thousands of those who are anti-abortion will gather in our nation’s capital soon, for the March for Life.

They will make it clear that Americans want less abortion, not more.

Biden, on the other hand, wants more child killing, and he wants American taxpayers to foot the bill.

Abortion advocates were hoping the 2022 U.S. Supreme Court decision, (in Dobbs vs. Jackson Women's Health Organizaiton), overturning Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973),  would put an end to this annual display of the strength and determination of the anti-abortion movement, but they underestimate us if they think we will abandon this fight.

The March for Life itself takes place on Friday, Jan. 19, but there are numerous other opportunities for those attending to demonstrate their solidarity with the unborn.

On Thursday, Jan. 18 from 9 to 11 a.m., the organization this writer leads, Priests for Life, will sponsor a prayerful protest outside the Planned Parenthood killing center at 1225 Fourth St. NE. National anti-abortion leaders will address what is annually a crowd of several hundred outside the nation’s largest abortion cartel’s D.C. flagship.

On Friday, Jan. 19 from 8:30-10:30 a.m., Priests for Life and the National Pro-Life Religious Council will host an interdenominational prayer service at Constitution Hall, 1776 D. St NW.

This year, the National Pro-Life Recognition Award will be given to four people whose stories will illustrate how the federal government has become a weapon trained on the anti-abortion movement, and how even the Catholic Church has worked to restrict, if not cancel, those of us involved in this work.

Bishop Joseph Strickland was ousted as leader of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, by Pope Francis for, among other reasons, his passionate support of the unborn.

Mark Houck, of Pennsylvania, who is anti-abortion, was arrested during an FBI raid on his home and later acquitted of charges filed against him by the U.S. Justice Department under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.

Sister Deirdre "Dede" Byrne, POSC, famous for her speech at the 2020 Republican Convention, will accept the award on behalf of eight anti-abortion rescuers currently in prison who are facing sentences of up to 11 years under the auspioces Joe Biden’s police state.

The fourth winner, Mark Lee Dickson, has demonstrated what one person can do to safeguard the unborn.

Dickson is the director of the Right to Life of East Texas and the founder of the Sanctuary City movement that offers towns, cities and counties a path to declaring themselves sanctuaries for the unborn — even in abortion-friendly states.

On Friday, Jan. 19, at approximately 2 p.m., the women and men of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign will gather at the steps of the Supreme Court, 1 First St. N.E., to give their testimonies about their abortion experiences.

Since Roe was overturned, the media has been saturated with stories of women who chose abortion for their children and do not regret that choice. But Silent No More has been testifying publicly since 2004 about the emotional and physical damage that followed that fatal choice.

It’s important to hear these stories.

Finally, on Monday, Jan. 22, beginning at 11 a.m., the 51st anniversary of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision will be observed with a prayer service at the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court to memorialize more than 65 million children killed in legal abortion.

The anti-abortion movement is about to turn out in force in our nation’s capital.

This is the same movement that marched for 50 years to bring about the end of Roe v. Wade. We're not about to sit back and let Democrats try to resuscitate it.
