In Tulsa, Oklahoma public educators are flouting a law that bans critical race theory and other racially divisive curricula in the classroom.

This is putting Republicans on the spot and unfortunately, they are showing yet again that they are not up to taking on the organized radical left.

A formal complaint was filed against Tulsa Public Schools (TPS) for having Critical Race Theory-style lessons administered to teachers and staffers.

This is part of the shell game that far-left indoctrinators use to claim that students are not being taught CRT, when it is being inculcated into teachers to make it endemic throughout their lesson plans.

TPS is reacting in a typical manner to the accusations, taking zero responsibility for their actions and passing the blame. TPS is hurling accusations of hatred against those who want to enforce the law and keep racism out of schools.

TPS Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist, who is white, actually called Board of Education member E'Lena Ashley, who is Black, "blatantly bigoted" for opposing CRT and expressing other conservative, Christian viewpoints.

Ashley's spokesperson Charity Marcus called Gist's comments "very discouraging" and a potential "micro-aggression against Black women."

The preceding serves as a prime example of how actively fighting the culture war, instead of surrendering and ceding ground like libertarians and weak conservatives want to do, turns the national debate on its head.

It galvanizes Black Christians against the heresy of CRT while showing how flimsy and contrived the arguments of the left are.

It also shows how it's not Blacks who are pushing the divisive lessons of CRT.

This is being pushed because of far-left radicals exploiting minorities as part of their divide-and-conquer scheme to transform America into their demented fantasy of authoritarian socialism.

Of course, there are useful idiots who jump into the grift, in the vein of the Rev. Al Sharpton, in order to line their pockets from racial division, but this is only a small percentage of Blacks.

Most Blacks want history taught accurately, one that derides racism and does not hide the dark stains on America's past, but also shows how our country has consistently united to overcome these obstacles to form a more perfect Union.

While grassroots activists fighting CRT and the culture wars in schools has given a gift to the GOP, its leaders are predictably squandering this momentum.

House Bill 1775, the measure banning CRT and other racist educational standards, was signed into law in 2021 but there were no specific punishment provisions written into that bill.

The ban is effectively the law, but individuals who flout that law are not necessarily subject to criminal or civil penalties.

The left understands the weakness of this Republican half-measure, which is why they're advancing forward in spite of its passage.

These showdowns are bound to happen and will become a fixture of our political future.

It will also occur with the so-called "Don't Say Gay" legislation that is being passed across the country.

These "educators" sincerely believe that your children are their property and that it's their divine right for them to teach them bizarre racial theories, talk to them about sex --- inclusive of gender and gender roles, while simultaneously warping their values.

As a result of these Tulsa liberals' breaking the law, the GOP is not even calling for a lawsuit against the district or the offending parties.

They know that proceeding boldly would result in the Democratic Party and its entire apparatus (from the media to the teachers' unions to the Black Lives Matter [BLM] mob movement) striking back with the full weight of their power.

Perhaps Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., would not shy away from this challenge, but the far more moderate Gov. Kevin Stitt, R-Okla., doesn't appear up to the task.

Gov. Stitt has called for an audit of Tulsa Public Schools and an investigation into their practices, but that will only confirm what likely everyone knows.

The left flaunts how they have ironclad control over the school system and treats anyone who disagrees with their regime as potential domestic terrorists.

They have total power over public education, and they most assuredly flaunt it whenever possible. The fact that Stitt isn't talking about severely punishing the guilty culprits clearly demonstrates how weak the Republican response to this lawbreaking truly is, and why the left operates so fearlessly when conducting their anti-American subterfuge.

What will show whether or not our society has the ability to correct itself and reverse the cultural damage that has been waged is what the consequences will be in instances such as these.

Oklahoma Education Secretary Ryan Walters is speaking out boldly but words aren't enough. Oklahoma Republicans need to be calling for public school administrators to be arrested for breaking the law.

There should be lawsuits, awareness campaigns, threats to defund, sustained protests, and the pushing for a public mandate that will cause these leftists to resign.

It is what they would do to us, and have done to us, and will likely do again.

Yes, we're fighting a genuine culture war  daily.

If we intend to win, we better start fighting, before the opportunity for a peaceful restoration of our civilization and republic arrives  only to disappear.
