Marc Rotterman - Biography


Marc Rotterman worked on the national campaign for Reagan for President in 1980. After the campaign, Rotterman was asked to join the Reagan transition team as special assistant to domestic policy adviser. In 1981 was there during one of defining moments of Reagan's presidency, the air traffic controllers strike.

In 1990, Rotterman was asked to help to start a new public policy organization, the John Locke Foundation, a nonprofit think-tank based in Raleigh, N.C. Today Rotterman is a conservative ad maker who has worked on numerous campaigns. Rotterman, a senior fellow at the John Locke Foundation, was founding president of that organization He is a member of the Reagan Alumni Association and the former Treasurer of the American Conservative Union. Mr. Rotterman also hosted "Front Row with Marc Rotterman" (PBS N.C.) and is a veteran of three presidential campaigns, as well as of numerous state and national congressional races.
