Mark Schulte - Biography
Mark Schulte, a fifth-generation New Yorker, was born in Manhattan in 1950. A proud graduate of the world-renowned Bronx High School of Science, he has a B.A. and M.A. from the City College of New York. Inspired by both his mother, a retired NYC educator, and President Ronald Reagan’s landmark 1983 report “A Nation at Risk,” Mr. Schulte taught in New York City’s public schools between 1985 and 2009, including 19 years as a high-school math teacher. Since 1977, Mark has written about education, science, World War II, and other topics for the New York Post, Jewish Press, The Weekly Standard, Times of Israel, and other publications.
