Vice President Kamala Harris is a high-risk replacement for President Biden, and America sees it all coming. The star chamber is in chaos as progressives scramble to save face and preserve control.
One thing is for sure, although California Gov. Gavin Newsom quickly endorsed Harris, he could still end up being the 2024 Democratic nominee. Yet another Obama-esque, smiling, dangerous progressive puppet for Democratic elites and plutocratic anti-American globalists, we must never let Gavin Newsom “Turn America into California.”
After Biden's extreme failures, and $35 trillion in debt at our door, it would be the end of us. Once a national bellwether, California under Gov. Newsom is a cautionary tale of unchecked elitism, incompetence, and hypocrisy (AKA Biden 2.0 or Obama 3.0).
A cultural Marxist, elitist degradation would ruin us. We must win this fight for long-term balance. Newsom's record is disqualifying. Here are 13 1/2 reasons never to elect Gavin Newsom as president of the United States.
1. Flaming and Expansive Homelessness Crisis
California's share of America's homeless population is 25% and rising. Despite allocating $24 billion over the past five years, a recent state audit revealed little progress in tracking the effectiveness of the spending. Encampments continue to be problematic.
2. Horrifically Neglectful Drought Mismanagement
Despite several atmospheric storms, California still lacks the necessary water storage infrastructure. Crops are devastated and farmworkers are unnecessarily struggling under Newsom's neglect.
3. Astronomical Gas Prices
Newsom claimed his windfall profits tax proposal on the gasoline industry would lower gas prices. His proposal would actually increase costs, further burdening Californians already struggling with high living costs.
California consistently has America's highest gas prices, often over $1.50 above the national average. California's gas taxes are among America's highest, yet the Golden State has America's fourth-worst roadway conditions.
Just 67% of California's 26,406 miles of pavement were in acceptable condition as of 2020.
4. Dangerous, Reckless, and Unsafe Early Release of Convicted Felons
A secretive Newsom executive order made 76,000 convicted felon prison inmates eligible for early release through good behavior credits, jeopardizing community safety.
"Newsom's soft-on-crime policies are putting our communities at risk," said Kevin Faulconer, former San Diego mayor. They have killed, raped, and stolen again, just as feared.
5.Disconcerted, Mismanaged Education Failures
Newsom is more concerned about teachers' unions than children. Despite massive spending, two-thirds of California students failed to meet math standards. Over half did not meet English standards.
6. Massive Exodus as Big Businesses Flee California
A Stanford University Hoover Institution study revealed businesses are leaving California at twice the rate of previous years, taking jobs, revenue, and opportunities with them. In 2021 alone, over 265 companies relocated their headquarters out of California.
High taxes, regulatory burdens, and an unfriendly business environment are driving this exodus. Newsom's recent 25% minimum wage hike for fast-food workers to $20 an hour raised food prices for poor people and prompted many restaurant closures due to unaffordable payrolls.
7. Ongoing Elitist Fraud Employment Development Department and Others
Newsom's Employment Development Department (EDD) sent out at least $33 billion in fraudulent unemployment benefits to incarcerated individuals and out-of-state applicants. California law forbids sharing Social Security numbers with non-law enforcement agencies.
8. Let Them Eat Cake! French Laundry, NFL Luxury Suite, and Panera Bread Scandals
During COVID-19, Newsom attended a lavish dinner at the French Laundry restaurant and partied maskless in an NFL luxury suite. These actions violated strict state travel and masking orders he enacted.
Newsom also secrety sought to exempt fast-food franchises like Panera from his higher-minimum-wage law. Newsom donor Greg Flynn owns over 100 Panera franchises.
9. Deadly Resource Management With Resulting Wildfire Prevention Failures
An investigation by CapRadio and NPR's California Newsroom found Newsom overstated the number of acres treated with fuel breaks and prescribed burns by 690%. His executive order treated only 11,399 acres, not the 90,000 he cited.
He blamed wildfires on climate change instead of his own poor management. Newsom prioritized radical environmentalism over saving homes and businesses from incineration.
10. High-Speed Rail Project to Nowhere Except Bankruptcy
Newsom poured billions of taxpayer dollars into the high-speed rail boondoggle. Originally estimated at $33 billion, the project has ballooned to $100 billion with no clear completion date.
11. Even More Newsom Colossal Failures
California is deeply in debt, unstable, and unsafe, with the highest national unemployment rate. Poverty has surged. Violent crime has increased by over 6% in just three years.
He legalized cannabis and now seeks to legalize psychedelic drugs. Newsom has also pursued some of the most aggressively pro-transgender policies in America. He signed bills mandating gender-neutral school bathrooms for trans-identifying students and ardently defended Drag Story Hour events for children.
12. A Progressive Hollow Elitist Disconnected From Average Americans
Newsom's business ventures were heavily funded by oil magnate Gordon Getty. Getty's support helped launch Newsom's early business career with wine company PlumpJack Associates, named after an opera Getty wrote.
PlumpJack received almost $3 million in low-interest federal COVID-19 loans meant for small businesses.
13. Newsom's Border Failures: An Intentional Gateway to Crime and Chaos. Virtue-Signaling to the White House at Any Cost.
Newsom's California border policies mirrored the disastrous Biden administration policies. California has seen an unchecked Latin crime wave. Marijuana cartels seized vast areas, turning them into lawless regions.
The influx of fentanyl skyrocketed over 400%, directly leading to tragic increases in teen overdoses and deaths. This porous border compounded rampant sex-trafficking and the spread of diseases.
13 1/2. Newsom Family's Questionable Morals and Scandals
Newsom had an affair with his campaign manager's wife. Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, emailed Harvey Weinstein asking for help with the sex scandal.
Newsom's governance has inflicted severe economic, social, and cultural damage to California. He must never be elected president.
