It is a cold spring in the nation’s capital where a divided nation finds its future in the hands of those who believe that open borders and closed minds will direct America going forward. It is a future fraught with danger for the very foundation of free speech, voting integrity, the economy, and our national sovereignty are at risk.

It begs several questions:

Who will defend the precious legacy of our founding fathers?

Who will defend the special gifts of freedom they bequeathed to future generations?

Who will defend us from enemies they warned of, both “foreign and domestic?”

Who will defend us from those who are now dismantling free speech?

Who will defend us from an unsustainable national debt that now threatens the very underpinning of the republic?

Who will defend the cherished gift of Democracy given to all of us by extraordinary patriots who risked their fortunes, their liberty, and their lives to create what history may record as the most noble nation on earth?

The answers are far from clear and the answers will define the next century of American history but the warning from a founding father is clear enough.

After his signature on the Declaration of Independence Benjamin Franklin would respond to a citizen’s question about our future…(You have) "A republic, if you can keep it."
