Trump's Righteous Use of Pardon Power Undermines Lawfare

The weaponization of federal government agencies to target political enemies — while perfected under the Obama administration — became the hallmark of the Biden presidency.

Under Obama, thousands of far-left progressive liberals were hired to fill critical civil servant jobs in Washington, D.C.; the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) was tasked with targeting conservative, Christian groups and organizations, and the Justice Department began its quest to take down successful business executives and entrepreneurs under the guise of "Individual Accountability for Corporate Wrongdoing."

By weaponizing over 300,000 regulations — not laws, but regulations — corporate officers could be held criminally liable for actions taken by those working under them — without their knowledge or consent — and go to prison for it. And for a very long time.

Under Biden, conservative parents who respectively stood up to liberal school board members were deemed "domestic terrorists;" Trump supporters were labeled a "threat to Democracy."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was placed on the (TSA) Transportation Safety Agency's "Terror Watch List," following her criticism of Biden’s vice president last summer before the election.

The Biden administration even pressured social media giants like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter (X) to censor conservative voices online.

To the regime, the First Amendment was not a guaranteed right, but rather something the government controlled.

But far worse, Biden followed Obama’s example and weaponized government agencies like the FBI and the Justice Department to target his political enemy — President Donald Trump.

For four years, Trump endured federal indictments and special counsel investigations — wasting tens of millions of taxpayer dollars on non-existent crimes, because Trump would be running against him in the next election — and he knew Trump would beat him in a landslide.

Talk about election interference at the highest levels.

But that’s not all. The injustices go back even further that perhaps, provided the road map for the persecution and prosecution of President Trump.

What are we talking about?

The persecution and prosecution of then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich, D-Ill., an enemy of the Democratic Party establishment — controlled by Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden.

On Dec. 8, 2008, the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid with nearly 30 agents and a hostage negotiator to arrest the sitting governor.

His crime? Talking on the phone.

Weeks later, he was impeached and removed from office.

Just like the fake tagline, "Russia Collusion," the "Sale of the Senate Seat" allegation dominated national headlines.

That too, was a big lie, but Blagojevich was sent to prison for 14 years because of it.

He never took a dime or even offered to sell Obama’s vacated Senate seat. That allegation and later conviction was preposterous.

They couldn’t convict him in the first trial, so they brought him back for a second trial and convicted him of non-existent crimes. With unlimited resources and power, the government would have gone to a third, fourth and even fifth trial — until they could secure a conviction.

The government also hides evidence that proves your innocence.

In the Blagojevich case, 98% of the tapes are still under a lifetime gag order, including Barack Obama’s 302 FBI interview.

Think about that.

Tapes that prove his innocence were kept hidden from the jury during his two trials. And despite pleading with the judge to allow the tapes to be played — his requests were all denied.

As an American, that’s frightening.

But under the Obama-Biden regimes, this was the new norm.

If making political deals were illegal, then every U.S. legislator would be imprisoned.

Political deals are made all the time.

They are certainly not a crime.

Taking money is a crime, but no one even alleged that the governor took one penny.

He was simply lobbying support for legislation that he wanted to pass that would help children and working-class families.

In July 2015, the Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the "sale of the senate seat" conviction.

Why?

Because Blagojevich never tried to sell it in the first place!

He was simply trying to make political deals to garner more support for his legislative priorities.

On Feb. 18, 2020, President Trump commuted his prison sentence after having served just one month shy of eight years in prison. On Feb. 10, 2025, President Trump signed a full and unconditional pardon in the Oval Office — calling it an "honor."

The Democrats’ repeated use of federal resources and agencies to target political enemies is the greatest constitutional crisis in America since the Civil War. But thanks to President Trump and his righteous use of the pardon pen, injustices are finally being corrected.
