Where Were Democrats While Forgotten Men and Women of America Languished?
For decades, Democrats have ruled Chicago like a fiefdom — promising progress while delivering pain. They’ve controlled the mayor's office, city council, and Springfield.
They've owned the political machinery, the budgets, and the talking points. Yet look around Chicago’s South and West Sides — where generations of Black families have struggled under their leadership — and ask yourself: who has truly benefited?
The answer is not the hardworking, law-abiding Black mothers trying to raise their children in safe neighborhoods. It's not the seniors waiting hours in understaffed hospitals. And it's certainly not the young men and women seeking real opportunity instead of welfare dependency.
No, the winners under Democrat rule are illegal immigrants.
Over the past few years, Chicago’s Democrat leaders — from Mayor Brandon Johnson to Gov. JB Pritzker — have diverted billions of taxpayer dollars to shelter, feed, and even provide free healthcare to illegal immigrants. Money which could have gone to reopening trauma centers on the South Side, fixing broken hospitals, or funding youth jobs programs in Englewood, Austin, or Roseland.
Instead, Democrats have chosen sanctuary over sovereignty — and illegal aliens over the very citizens who built this city.
Gov. Pritzker alone has poured nearly $2.5 billion into "migrant services," including free health insurance for undocumented adults – a benefit many low-income Black residents don’t even qualify for. Meanwhile, hospitals in predominantly Black neighborhoods are closing or cutting services. Pregnant mothers can’t find prenatal care.
Gunshot victims wait for ambulances that never come. And children grow up in communities where “public safety” is just a slogan — not a reality.
It’s not just neglect — it’s betrayal.
Black Chicagoans were once the backbone of the Democratic Party.
They delivered votes year after year, believing in promises of fairness, jobs, and opportunity. But what have they received in return?
Failing schools. Rampant crime. Skyrocketing property taxes.
And now, the indignity of being told that illegal immigrants deserve their tax dollars and city services more than they do.
Mayor Brandon Johnson recently compared the term "illegal alien" to calling Black Americans "slaves."
That wasn’t leadership — it was moral confusion. There are illegal aliens. There are laws. And there’s nothing racist about demanding that those laws be enforced.
What’s truly offensive is watching Democrat leaders exploit Black pain to justify open borders.
President Donald Trump is changing that.
He's exposing the scam — the one-party system that keeps minorities dependent while rewarding lawlessness. Under his leadership, the message is clear: America First means every American first — no exceptions.
Trump is realigning politics in a way that terrifies the left.
He’s winning over Black men and women who see through the empty slogans. They’re tired of being told to wait their turn while illegal aliens get free housing, food, and health care.
They're tired of seeing their tax dollars fund luxury hotel stays for migrants while their own schools lack air conditioning and basic supplies.
In Trump’s America, law and order matter again. Borders matter again. And citizenship matters again.
It’s no wonder that polls now show rising Black support for Trump. People know he’s not afraid to say what everyone’s thinking — that charity begins at home.
That we must take care of our own before we take care of the world.
That no mother in Chicago should ever lose a child because a hospital was underfunded while a hotel downtown was turned into a taxpayer-funded migrant shelter.
Democrats built this crisis. Trump is fixing it.
For the forgotten men and women of America — from Chicago’s South Side to every struggling city — hope has a name: Donald J. Trump.
