Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was noncommittal Sunday to endorsing another term for President Joe Biden.

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it," AOC told CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday.

"But I think if the president has a vision, then that's something certainly we're all willing to entertain and examine when the time comes."

CNN host Dana Bash noted that response did not amount to a "yes," and AOC replied she is focused on this year's midterm elections that will determine the majorities in the House and Senate.

But, despite myriad crises and Democrats telling The New York Times they hope Biden decides not to run again after the November midterms, AOC claimed Biden is "doing a very good job so far."

"We should endorse when we get to it, but I believe that the president's been doing a very good job so far, and, you know, should he run again, I think that I, you know, I think … we'll take a look at it.

"But right now, we need to focus on winning a majority instead of a presidential election."

AOC is one of the most progressive leftists in Congress, while Biden had purported to be a centrist Democrat. AOC has maintained in past elections, the Democratic Party needs to move further to her left than toward the center Biden hoped to move the party to.

AOC is pushing for younger Democrats so that lawmakers are not elected "in perpetuity" – something that tends to be common in deep blue states like her state of New York.

"We need to have a generational shift in the United States Congress in order for us to have a policy shift in the United States Congress," she told CNN, The Hill reported.
