Documentary: George H.W. Bush Knew of 1964 Alien Contact

A new documentary is making waves with the extraordinary claim that former President George H.W. Bush privately acknowledged a 1964 alien encounter at a military base in New Mexico.

According to the New York Post, astrophysicist Eric Davis says Bush told him that U.S. officials had face-to-face contact with a non-human being at Holloman Air Force Base.

Davis, who served as a scientific adviser to the Pentagon's now-defunct Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), told filmmakers that Bush personally confirmed details of the alleged incident during private conversations in 2003.

The remarks appear in "The Age of Disclosure," a new documentary from director Dan Farah that debuted Friday on Amazon Prime.

According to Davis, Bush — a former CIA director and decorated Navy pilot — described three unidentified craft approaching Holloman in 1964. One reportedly landed on the tarmac, where "a non-human entity" exited the craft and interacted with U.S. Air Force personnel and CIA officials.

Davis said Bush was later briefed on the encounter but was denied further access on a "need-to-know" basis.

The Post notes that Davis did not provide descriptions of the supposed alien being, the craft, or physical evidence backing up his claims.

The documentary centers on what it calls the "Legacy Program," a purported covert operation involving the CIA, U.S. Air Force, Department of Energy, and private contractors responsible for retrieving crashed UFOs and alien bodies.

Several former officials interviewed in the film assert that extraterrestrials have visited Earth, though none present new physical proof.

Davis also claims alien bodies were recovered in Russia in 1988 from a crashed tic-tac-shaped craft. Hal Puthoff, another former AATIP member and longtime advocate for government transparency on UFOs, says multiple types of extraterrestrials have been observed.

"The bodies recovered are not all the same type," he says in the film.

The documentary includes accounts from military personnel who say they suffered severe medical injuries after encounters with unidentified craft.

Dr. Garry Nolan, a Stanford immunologist, told filmmakers he treated service members brought to him by CIA-linked contacts who displayed "horrific" burns and internal brain scarring.

Retired Navy and Air Force intelligence officer Mike Flaherty also alleges lasting health effects from contact with a craft.

According to the film, even presidents have been kept in the dark about the Legacy Program.

Some lawmakers interviewed warn that such secrecy could hide potential national-security threats. One official notes repeated incidents of unidentified objects operating over restricted nuclear sites.

Director Dan Farah told the New York Post he hopes the documentary pushes political leaders toward full disclosure.

"It sets the table for a president to step up and tell humanity we're not alone," he said.

Bush died on Nov. 30, 2018.
