Former President Donald Trump on Monday called on the FBI to "make America great again" while speaking out about the agency's past actions including former Director James Comey, the 2016 election, and his then-competitor Hillary Clinton as the fallout grows concerning the raid at his home in Florida.

After posting the all-caps comment on his Truth Social account early Monday, he reposted a comment he had made the day before, calling on FBI agents to rebel against what is happening to him in connection with the search at his Mar-a-Lago estate Aug. 8.

"When are the great agents, and others, in the FBI going to say 'we aren't going to take it anymore,' much as they did when James Comey read off a list of all of Crooked Hillary Clinton's crimes, only to say that no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute," that post read. "The wonderful people of the FBI went absolutely 'nuts,' so Comey had to backtrack and do a FAKE INVESTIGATION in order to keep them at bay. The end result, we won in 2016 (and did MUCH better in 2020!). But now the 'left' has lost their minds!!!"

Trump's posts come as a vital hearing in his case is coming up this week, with U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon in Florida signaling over the weekend that she has a "preliminary intent" to agree to his request to appoint a special master to oversee the FBI's review of evidence and materials seized in the raid.

Cannon, in an order issued Saturday, said she wants responses by Trump and the Department of Justice to be filed before the hearing, scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Paul G. Rogers U.S. Courthouse in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The DOJ must respond to Trump's demand by Tuesday for the master, or a third-party attorney who would be responsible for filtering out privileged material that may have been seized in the search, and Trump must reply to the DOJ's response Wednesday.

Trump over the weekend also accused the FBI and the Department of Justice of "practicing election interference at the highest and most dishonest level our country has ever seen before" including in both the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election.

"They allowed spying on my campaign (and did nothing!), told Facebook and the media that the Laptop from Hell was 'Russian disinformation' (it wasn't!), and now they don't want anyone to read the words and meaning of the very important Presidential Records Act, under which I did nothing wrong, BUT THEY DID - RAID!" Trump posted, with the laptop comment referring to the revelations contained on the laptop owned by President Joe Biden's son, Hunter.
