Trump: 'There's No Way' Swift Endorses Biden

By    |   Sunday, 11 February 2024 02:48 PM EST

Former President Donald Trump says pop singer Taylor Swift owes him a presidential vote.

In a post on his Truth Social platform Sunday — ahead of Swift's expected attendance at Super Bowl LVIII to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — Trump claimed he was the reason for her superstar success.

"I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists," he wrote, referencing copyright legislation he signed in 2018.

"Joe Biden didn't do anything for Taylor, and never will," he continued.

"There's no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money."

"Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can't stand me!" he concluded.

Swift endorsed Biden over Trump in 2020, but hasn't publicly signaled any preference in the 2024 White House race.
