The new cover of The Economist shows a cartoon-like figure of President Donald Trump speaking through a megaphone made to look like a Ku Klux Klan hood.

The magazine released the rendering in a tweet on Thursday morning:

Another tweet of the rendering by the magazine linked to an article headlined on its website: "Donald Trump has no grasp of what it means to be president."

The story referred to the president's controversial remarks blaming white supremacists and counter-protesters for the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.
