Eric Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump, wrote Tuesday that his father had seen a stark uptick in fundraising since the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago residence earlier this week.
"Breaking: DonaldJTrump.com is shattering all fundraising records and I'm told has raised more money in the past 24 hours than ever before in recent history! The American people are pissed!" Eric stated on Twitter.
Claims of Trump's Save America PAC receiving record donations come after a slew of political pundits on both sides warned that the raid's aftermath could shift momentum going into the November midterm elections.
Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang said: "I'm no Trump fan. I want him as far away from the White House as possible. But a fundamental part of his appeal has been that it's him against a corrupt government establishment."
"This raid strengthens that case for millions of Americans who will see this as unjust persecution," he added.
Political strategist John Thomas, who organized a PAC pushing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, asserted the FBI's action solidifies Trump's hold over the party.
"We can hang it up. It couldn't be clearer," the GOP insider told Politico. "If Trump wants it [the nomination] at this point, I don't see how it's not his … It'll be a coronation at this point, not a primary."
The former president revealed through Truth Social that the FBI and other federal government entities are still not allowing anyone to "be anywhere near the areas that were rummaged" during Monday's raid on his Florida mansion.
"Everyone was asked to leave the premises, they wanted to be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they were doing, taking or, hopefully not, 'planting.' Why did they STRONGLY insist on having nobody watching them, everybody out?" the former president wrote.
