Gabbard: Iran's Nuclear Sites Have Been Destroyed

By    |   Wednesday, 25 June 2025 03:01 PM EDT

Iran's nuclear sites have been destroyed, confirming what President Donald Trump has stated numerous times, says Tulsi Gabbard, director of national intelligence.

"New intelligence confirms what @POTUS has stated numerous times: Iran's nuclear facilities have been destroyed. If the Iranians chose to rebuild, they would have to rebuild all three facilities (Natanz, Fordow, Esfahan) entirely, which would likely take years to do," Gabbard said on Wednesday in a post on X.

"The propaganda media has deployed their usual tactic: selectively release portions of illegally leaked classified intelligence assessments (intentionally leaving out the fact that the assessment was written with "low confidence") to try to undermine President Trump's decisive leadership and the brave servicemen and women who flawlessly executed a truly historic mission to keep the American people safe and secure."

The Defense Intelligence Agency on Monday said Iran's nuclear program had been set back by just a few months after U.S. strikes and was not "completely and fully obliterated" as Trump had said.

The report contradicted statements from Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the status of Iran's nuclear sites.
