"The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart, after Thursday night's presidential debate, lampooned President Joe Biden's performance and said he had "resting 25th Amendment face" while listening to former President Donald Trump speaking.
"Need to call a real estate agent in New Zealand," said Stewart in a live appearance on the Comedy Central program, which these days he usually hosts only on Mondays, reports The Hill.
That comment came after Biden stumbled mid-thought while answering a question before declaring that "we finally beat Medicare."
Stewart, though, while commenting about both candidates, said "This cannot be real life. It just can't."
A flash poll from CNN, which hosted the Atlanta debate, showed two-thirds of the voters believed Trump won the standoff, and 5% of Biden's voters said they'd changed their minds about him because of his hoarse-voiced performance, in which he often veered off topic and mumbled.
"So Biden perhaps not on top of his game. So maybe I will check out this young upstart Donald Trump," Stewart joked.
However, he spoke out against Trump as well, playing a montage of the former president's remarks and saying that he "does not appear to have passed the a-hole test."
"Just so we're all clear: Everything Donald Trump said in that clip is a lie, blatant and full," Stewart said.
