Lindsey Lohan is a mom.
The "Mean Girls" star gave birth to her first child, a son name Luai, who she shares with husband Bader Shammas, a representative confirmed to Page Six.
"The family is over the moon in love," her rep said in a statement Monday.
The baby was born in Dubai, where the couple live. His exact birth date is unclear.
Lohan announced her pregnancy in March by sharing a photo of a baby's onesie with the words "coming soon" written on the front.
"We are blessed and excited," she wrote via Instagram at the time.
The pregnancy announcement came four months after she opened up about her family plans with Interview magazine.
"I want to have kids," she told the outlet in November, adding that she and Shammas had "talked" about whether they would continue to live in Dubai after becoming parents.
"It's so safe there, and the schools are great. It's so detached from everything that I'm used to ... It's nice to have a separate world that's my own."
Lohan and Shammas secretly got married in April 2022. The pair were engaged in 2021 and began dating in 2020, after meeting in Dubai, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Lohan has been based in Dubai for several years and previously shared the reasons why she chose to remain there.
"There's a certain calmness that I find there," she told W Magazine during a 2018 interview. "There's no paparazzi, no cameras; that's a big deal for me. I never considered people taking a picture 'bothering' me, but I don't want people to misinterpret who I am as a person if they see me sneezing and they say I'm crying. I do really appreciate having the life where I can just go outside and not have to worry."
In the past, Lohan has dominated headlines for her renowned party-girl lifestyle and strained relationship with her father, with whom she reconnected in Dubai. She also drew widespread attention after splitting from her former fiance Egor Tarabasov in 2016.
Shortly after, she opened up about their tumultuous relationship with Russian TV's Channel One.
"I realize now you can't stay in a relationship just for love. No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn't prepared to say sorry," she said, according to The Sun. "The truth is I wanted to make things work, but now I'm not sure that I can."
