President Donald Trump touted recent polling data saying he has "the highest poll numbers of my political career," asserting that his work on the economy, foreign relations, stopping wars, border security, and crime has placed him at a historic high.
"I HAVE JUST GOTTEN THE HIGHEST POLL NUMBERS OF MY 'POLITICAL CAREER.' While my great work on the Economy has not yet been fully appreciated, it will be! Things are really Rockin.' Stopping WARS and Foreign Relations seems to be a strong suit," the president posted Saturday on Truth Social.
The Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking poll has Trump at a 47% approval rating among likely U.S. voters. For comparison, former President Joe Biden had an average approval rating of 42% in November 2021.
Trump also praised his administration’s key achievements in shutting down the U.S. southern border and bolstering efforts to lower crime in America’s inner cities.
"Also great, The Border and Stopping Crime. I predict that the Economy, with the already HIGHEST STOCK MARKET, EVER, and prices coming sharply down from the Biden disaster, will soon be at the top of the list. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" he concluded.
